What is Bowen Therapy?
Bowen therapy is a holistic healing technique that stimulates the body’s natural responses.
The Bowen therapy technique works on the soft connective tissue (fascia) of the body. The treatment consists of sequences of small moves, each at a specific site on the body.
It’s a gentle treatment that requires frequent pauses between movements so the body had time to integrate and begin healing.
Developed in Australia over 50 years ago by Tom Bowen, Bowen therapy is practiced widely around the world.
